These are some of the many events you will be getting up to

Camping

Camping with the scouts involves a group of scouts spending one or more nights in the great outdoors. Scouts are responsible for setting up their own tents and cooking their own meals using camping stoves or open fires. During the day, the scouts may go on hikes, learn survival skills, or engage in team-building activities. In the evening, we might gather around a campfire to sing or play games.

Hiking

Hiking with the scouts involves a group of scouts going on a trek through a designated trail in nature. Scouts are responsible for carrying their own backpacks, which contain their food, water, and other essential supplies. During the hike, scouts may learn about the environment, flora, and fauna, and practice basic navigation and wilderness survival skills. Along the way, we may stop to rest.

Abseiling

An abseiling event with the scouts typically involves a group of scouts descending down a vertical surface using a rope and harness system. The scouts are first given safety instructions and demonstrations before they are allowed to attempt the abseiling themselves. They may start on a smaller descent and progress to more challenging ones as they become more experienced.
